With the success of our lifestyle showroom ARMAZEM.design, we wanted to take our knowledge and expertise and connect further with our clients through interior design.

Thus was born Studio A.d, an in-house interior design practice combining our years of experience with a timeless aesthetic, where we fully work on spaces unique to our clients with their desires and goals at the forefront.

Our ethos is design with the client, not for the client.

We engage, we listen, we invest. And we share our knowledge and expertise throughout the process.

  • Principal

    Meet the creative force behind Studio A.d, our Founder and Principal, Jon Fante. His impressive 20-year journey in design has taken him from the vibrant culture of Southern Brazil to the forefront of the US design scene. Jon’s belief in the power of a close-knit, family-like team is the cornerstone of Studio A.d, uniting a talented group of designers and architects. When he steps away from the studio, he enjoys long bike rides, playing tennis, and spending time with his kids to recharge his creative energy.

  • Architect

    Frank's story begins in the stunning state of Kerala, India, where he first launched his architecture career before moving to our very own Chicago to complete his master's at IIT. He contributes a rich viewpoint to the Studio A.d team, applying his meticulous eye for detail to both design and construction. An adventurer at heart, Frank spends his free time trekking and exploring the country on his quest to visit all 50 states by next year. He's also a dedicated basketball fan!

  • Project Manager [Florida]

    Marcel’s design journey started at age four drawing treehouses and has since taken him from Brazil to an international stage. He turned a childhood fascination with cabinetry into a career, traveling abroad to launch new showrooms after completing his design degree. Now a core member of the Studio A.d family, Marcel channels his lifelong passion, global experience, and entrepreneurial spirit into every design.

  • Studio Coordinator

    Suzanne has always been passionate about the details, especially when it came to storytelling or writing. She joined the team in 2013 after working in corporate communications.  Outsde of work she spends her time with her boys or spending time in nature.
